Hello my peeps!
I'm back with lots of fun pictures and facts about our DSA opening social which was just a week ago.
Every semester the Dominican Student association puts on and opening social and other amazing events! I'm not bragging about it just because I'm Dominican, and I'm part of the DSA council this year, but our events are super fun and entertaining. We usually have Dominican food in our events like rice, beans, chicken, salad and others. This years we made Yaroa which is a dominican street food made out of French fries, meat, cheese, ketchup, mayonnaise, and other condiments.
We always have music on our events and we dance all nigh Long to the rhythm of merengue, salsa, bachata, dembow, and reggaeton. The best part about all this is that you get to learn how to dance all this fun music styles from actual Dominicans and people that really know how to dance them. You also get to meet a lot of people from everywhere around the world. This year we had about eighty students come to our event and it was a blast. Here are some pictures of the event.
